Hana Bay

The best snorkeling is on the inside, bay side, of the island. Colorful coral and fish here. No need to go past the island because the currents and surf can be very strong if you do. Walk up from the wharf to the point near the island rather than swimming. It saves your energy and the entry is easy from here.

Take the Hana Highway to the town of Hana and then left on Keawa Street to the wharf parking. Off to the right is Pu'uki'i Island.
