Snorkel & Scuba
Watch out for the incredibly huge thorns when you get out of the car! The beach is short but the coral reef is not far off and the snorkeling and diving are great. You can keep going out as far as your energy takes you the further you go the better it gets. Lots of snorkel boats anchor off here, you can see it for free. When you get out a ways you will find one of Maui's many "turtle towns". The reefs are everywhere and are full of fish, eels and other life. Watch out for winter and southern swells which can make the dive tricky.
South of Lahaina just past the French restaurant, look for mile marker 14, park where you can find room under the trees. Watch out for the incredibly huge thorns when you get out of the car!
