Scenic Lookout
Snorkel & Scuba
This is definitely not a beginner's snorkeling or scuba area. First the trail down can be slippery. Then there is no beach and the entry is for excellent and experienced swimmers only. If you feel confident this is an excellent spot. There is an abundance of fish in both directions along the shore. You will reach depths of 40 feet to the left and 60 feet to the right. You may even see a reef shark here.
Located at the obvious large scenic turnout just past Ma'alaea on the way to Lahaina at about mile 8.5. This is another place to leave the car unlocked and devoid of valuables.
