Slaughterhouse
Beach
|
| Snorkel |
| In Hawaiian it's Mokule'ia. This small pocket beach has some fair
snorkeling on the right but is subject to clouding during rainy
times. |
| Scuba |
| The best entry is toward the northwest end of the bay. From here
go straight out north by northwest along the reef. The reef will
bottom out into sand at about forty-five feet. |
| Sunbathing |
| Mornings are best for shade and there is nice sand for afternoon
sunning. |
|
| Just
north of mile marker 32 access is via a concrete stairway.
Be careful with heavy SCUBA gear on. |
